Walking Around the Neighborhood

As I was drawing this house a hawk, or some other really big bird, caught and landed on a smaller bird. Then he just stood there. On the bird. As two of the small bird's buddies flew around making a lot of noise. The big bird stood there until the other birds flew away, then as it took off a mockingbird came after it! But I'm sure it got away to enjoy its dinner in peace.

I walked down Central then down Cooper and stopped in front of the House of Mews and drew this sleeping cat. That place stinks to high heaven, but all those cats in the window sure do draw the eye.
